Some days you could almost think there was someone stamping you with a theme. The theme I've heard today is that a great deal of the troubles in our lives and world can be pinned on convenience, automation, and external drives for "success."
I want you to think about this for a moment. There are all kinds of gadgets and creations meant to save us time. Processed food bereft of nutritional value, computers for carpal tunnels and headaches, remotes so we can let the plaque build up in our arteries that don't have to move blood any more, and on they come. But, for what? So we can spend more time away from home running ourselves crazy with work and school and thousands of extra-curricular activities. Then we say we don't have time for anything but sitting in front of the TV and eating microwaved cardboard?
